Hello - I collected Rubik's items only sporadically - why I'm very sorry today, because there are so many items that are not more obtainable. So one collect something your friends and family are very happy, because they always know, what to give to birthday or x-mas. In the years the Rubik's items were joined by many other puzzles like jigsaw, tangram, wooden- ringwire- and more puzzles. And I begun to search more intensive for new pieces. Then I bought my first book (written by Botermans and Slocum) and I had to realize, that my collection will be incomplete for ever... In spite of that: in november 93 I got the chance to establish a little cabaret in an old coalmine-building. (Informations under www.zauberkasten.de) When it was mostly fit up (with the indispensable help from my co-director and my wife) we put my collection into show-cases in the foyer of our theatre and in 1999 we 'inaugurated' the first german puzzlemuseum, called the PUZZLEUM. For visitorgroups we make showing round and lectures about the history of puzzles. And the visitors are allowed to test many pieces. (Therefore I always search doubles too!!!) I myself try to complete my collection - so far time and money will allow me. When I have time I sometimes construct puzzles, mostly wooden pieces. But also from other things I bought on fleamarkets. Mostly it is pur copying for own requirements. But sometimes I create something new, too. This pieces can be seen in the "Galerie". In the department "Vitrinen" you can see the parts of my collection. Have a good time by inspecting them. Last but not least ...... I always like to hold old and find new contact to people, who are interested in puzzles. Visitors are welcome - virtually or personally in the museum. Hope to see y o u soon..........
